 The Upazila Agriculture Office under the Department of Agriculture Extension under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has been providing services to the public since 1973 by conducting all the activities related to agriculture in the Upazila. This office conducts official and field level activities with one Agriculture Officer, one Deputy Assistant Plant Protection Officer, 12 Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officers, 3 Office Assistants, 1 Spray Mechanic, 1 Sweeper.
As this office does not have its own building, currently the office activities are carried out on the 4th floor of Thanichi Upazila Parishad building.
